We started Irish Accident Injury because too many drivers who did nothing wrong were left to sort recovery, a hire car, repairs and an injury claim on their own — usually while dealing with three different phone numbers and a lot of paperwork.
What we do
Irish Accident Injury is a single point of contact for drivers involved in road traffic accidents that weren't their fault. We connect you with our nationwide panel of vetted recovery operators, vehicle hire providers, approved repair centres and personal injury specialists, and we manage the coordination between them so you don't have to.
We don't provide legal advice, credit hire or repairs ourselves — our panel of independent, regulated providers does. Our job is to make sure the right people are on the case quickly, that you understand your options at each step, and that you're treated fairly throughout.
Who we help
We work with drivers across every county in Ireland who've been involved in a collision caused by someone else — whether that's a rear-end shunt in traffic, a junction collision, or a more serious incident that's left them shaken and unsure what to do next.
Many of the people who call us have never made a claim before. We keep the language plain, explain what happens at each stage, and never pressure anyone into a service they don't want.
The principles behind how we work
No pressure, ever
You're never obliged to use any provider we recommend. You can walk away from any call and deal with your own insurer instead — we'll tell you that upfront, not bury it in small print.
Plain-language guidance
Road traffic accidents come with enough stress already. We explain recovery, hire, repair and the personal injury process in everyday language, not jargon.
A panel we hold to standard
Our recovery, hire and repair partners are chosen for reliability and quality of work, and we follow up when something isn't right.
How we're paid
Our service to you carries no upfront fee. Where we introduce you to a recovery, hire or repair provider on our panel and that introduction results in business, the provider pays us a referral fee. This has no impact on the price or standard of service you receive.
For personal injury matters, any solicitor or claims specialist we refer you to will set out their own fee structure directly with you before any work begins, in line with Irish regulations.
A note on regulation
Vehicle recovery, hire and repair services arranged through our panel are provided by independent third parties. Personal injury claims in Ireland are assessed in the first instance by the Injuries Resolution Board (formerly PIAB). We'll always point you toward information on that process, and toward independent legal advice where appropriate.
